Undo the 2 screws from underneath the unit, then lift the Thermostat off the wall.
You will find the batteries on the reverse of the unit.
Replace with 2 x AA Alkaline batteries (Note - Positive points to the top).
DO NOT USE Zinc, Heavy Duty or Lithium Batteries.
