Follow the steps below to diagnose and resolve the issue.

1. Check the Thermostat Display

Ensure the thermostat screen is on and operating normally.

  • If the display is blank, check or replace the batteries.

  • If the low battery symbol is showing, replace the batteries before continuing.

2. Reset the System

Restart both devices to restore communication.

  1. Reset the Gateway by unplugging the power supply.

  2. Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect the power.

  3. Once the gateway has restarted, reset the thermostat (remove the batteries for 30 seconds).

3. Check Signal Range

Poor radio signal can prevent communication.

  • Move the thermostat temporarily to the same room as the gateway.

  • Reset the thermostat again once it has been moved.

  • If the units connect successfully, the original thermostat location may be outside the reliable signal range.

4. Re-Pair the Thermostat

If the thermostat still does not connect, you may need to pair it again with the gateway.

Follow the thermostat pairing instructions to reconnect the devices.
