Yes, Inspire Home Automation thermostats can be installed and the heating system commissioned without an internet connection. However, the thermostat's functionality will be limited until it is connected to the internet.
Ignite LITE
Without an internet connection, you will only be able to boost the heating for one hour at a time.
Ignite Touch
Without an internet connection, you can:
Set the heating to Off.
Follow the thermostat's default schedule.
Leave the heating On continuously.
Boost the heating for one hour.
Please note:
The thermostat will not have the correct time until it connects to the internet, so scheduled heating will operate at incorrect times.
User locks and remote management features will not be available, meaning anyone at the property can adjust the thermostat settings.
Once the internet is available
After the internet connection has been installed, you will need to:
Return to the property.
Connect the thermostat to the Wi-Fi network.
Add the device to your Inspire Home Automation account.
Once connected, the thermostat will synchronise its time and all remote control, scheduling, and account features will become available.
