How do I view Signal Strength?

You can check signal strength from the app or directly on the Thermostat. A stronger signal helps ensure reliable communication between your devices.

There are several ways to check the WiFi and RF signal strength of your Ignite Wireless.

When Logged into the App

Homepage

  • View the current WiFi signal strength of the receiver.

  • View the RF signal strength for any connected Thermostat(s) and Sensor(s).

Diagnostics

  • The Diagnostics page also displays both the WiFi and RF signal strengths, along with other useful connection information.

On the Thermostat

The Thermostat shows the RF signal between the Thermostat and Receiver.

On the Smart Sensor (If Applicable)

You can also check the RF signal strength directly from the sensor:

  1. Hold the sensor with the leaf logo facing upwards.

  2. Press and hold the Up arrow for 5 seconds.

  3. The LEDs will perform a sweeping animation.

  4. The sensor will then display 1 to 5 LEDs, indicating the current RF signal strength:

    • 1 LED – Poor signal

    • 2 LEDs – Fair signal

    • 3 LEDs – Good signal

    • 4 LEDs – Very good signal

    • 5 LEDs – Excellent signal

Tip: For the most reliable performance, aim for a signal strength of 2 or more LEDs.
